My Sister's Community

During our visit to "My Sister's House" I noticed how the structure is broken up into public and private zones. The small kitchen encourages interaction among the residents. The kitchen also opens well to the entrance and dining area which are comparatively sized to the kitchen. The narrow entrance to the main hallway effectively separates the private apartment rooms from the more public entrance and kitchen. The tall, wide hallway also separates the rooms so that there is a "homier" private atmosphere rather than that of a prison with "individual units."
